“ The food was amazing I got white chocolate bread pudding pancakes with a side of bacon and potatoes. The pancakes were definitely delicious but the white chocolate chips get over powering towards the end I could have had fewer chips on/in my pancakes. We also got a mimosa flight they were very tasty definitely not very boozy (was a little disappointed there). The service was fast and there was not a crazy wait (30ish minutes) for the average breakfast rush. This location is rather small so the tables are pretty packed in there but it's still a cute little business with great food so I would recommend and would come back! ”
“ I was told by a friend to check out this place when visiting NOLA. I am happy I did. I ordered the French toast. With a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. I also ordered the latte. Very good. My husband had the cinnamon pancakes with a flight of mimosas. The server was very nice. It's very clean. You want to go early as possible. It starts to get busy by 9am. I recommend this spot to anyone coming to visit NOLA. There are multiple locations. Great place. ”
“ After the bumpy post COVID years, Ruby Slipper roars back into top form! The coffee is French Truck. I had the poached eggs over a fried green tomato and biscuit with Tasso ham and shrimp. We also tried the hot honey chicken. Another bit heavy for me but tasty! Busy as all get out during event weeks like Mardi Gras, you definitely want to put yourself on the waitlist. Ambience is funky fun. Service is excellent. ”
“ The food is good; however on my last visit December 1, 2024 the wait time to get food was horrible. It seemed they were short staff. EVERYONE was looking around for the waiter as we waited to be served drinks and have our order taken. Food took forever to come out as well. It was good when it came out, but seem like it wasn't freshly cooked. It seem like it may have set for a bit before being served to us. I'll definitely give it another shot but if it disappoints all have to take this off my stop when I visit Nawlins ”

“ Sunday morning breakfast (8:30am). Walked in and there were a lot of open tables - that changed by the time we were leaving the place was bustling. Hosts were friendly and welcoming - we went to sit with our friend who were already seated. My friend ordered the little beignets to start - I didn't have one but they looked good. I ordered the migas - it wasn't bad. I'm used to a wetter style though and even though the creamy sauce they had was good, it wasn't my fave. My friend raved about her BLT (she suggests adding an egg). Next time, I'll order that. My husband ordered Biscuit, eggs, bacon and grits and added a side of two more eggs. Would definitely go back. ”

“ There were so many people that told us to check out this particular breakfast brunch restaurant we just had to go! Luckily at 9 AM on a Saturday morning this place was not packed!! we decided to sit at the bar and order. I got the Fosters French toast and my hubby got the omelette with fish and grits And a biscuit! Hee. The ladies that worked behind the bar were so cute and fun! They reminded me of my aunt May who's from Georgia! They were so welcoming and sweet as well as helping us pick what to get for breakfast! I wish we went a little later in the morning because their cocktails look delicious but I've never been one to have a cocktail at 9 AM! So maybe if I went for brunch I could have some thing but goodness I definitely want to go back and get a mixed drink!! they also had flights of drinks as well and those looked delicious!!! I will definitely go back to this restaurant next time I'm in New Orleans! ”
“ Wowowowow. What an amazing experience! Environment: very friendly upon entering. Spacious restaurant. Cool artwork of NOLA. Old diner type feel, but revamped. Food: Went for breakfast. Got the iced vanilla latte. I wish they had more syrups than just vanilla, but it was still yummy. Not too bitter or too sweet. Got the Benedict Trifecta. SO GOOD! It was definitely a lot for one person, but every single one was unique and delicious. My favorite was the pork one, but again they were all so good. The biscuits were fluffy. The fried chicken was heavily breaded and well seasoned. I'd happily order all three again. Service: Our server was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. The fellow waitstaff helped refill our coffee cups when we got low. Would love to come back here! ”
